Location: Matthaei Botanical Gardens, 1800 Dixboro rd


This location is perfect for seniors who want a soft, natural, and timeless look. With a mix of florals, greenery, and open light, it creates a gallery that feels both elevated and relaxed.


I’ll guide you to the best spots and lighting throughout your session so you don’t have to worry about a thing—just show up and enjoy it.


For the senior looking for: Variety, greenery, flexible timing. The park is generally great for morning or afternoon sessions, you don't need golden hour lighting here for great photos.


Nuances: The park area is open dawn to dusk and free to shoot at year round. There is a $35 photo pass fee for the  conservatory and display gardens (photos differentiated below). This is where the majority of the flowers will be. Hours for this area vary by season. Summer: closed Mondays, every other day 10am-8:30

Labor Day- Memorial Day: closed Mondays, 10am-8:30 on Wednesdays, 10am-4:30pm other days
