Wildflower Senior Photos
For seniors dreaming of that soft, field-inspired look, wildflower sessions have become more popular every year—and it’s easy to see why. These sessions offer a natural, romantic feel that stands out while still feeling timeless.
In general, spring brings shorter colorful wildflowers and taller whites and yellows come in late summer. Many of these fields are seeded by a nonprofit, Creating Habitats. They are planted and maintained by volunteers and they come up differently each year. Plantings do not look the same every year, but I do always have some flowers as my go-to all summer!
When planning a session like this, I always suggest booking toward the beginning or middle of the expected bloom window. Waiting until the end of the season can be risky—especially if weather causes a reschedule and the blooms have already passed. I can't guarantee a specific field will be in bloom when you book your date, and I do recommend securing a date early as summer spots fill up fast. If you see a specific look here you can screenshot and send it to me at RebekahKorfhagePhoto@gmail.com and I can do my best to estimate a session date based on past years.
If you’re interested in a wildflower session, write “wildflowers” in your booking questionnaire under location. We’ll finalize the exact location as your session date gets closer, ensuring the best possible setting for your photos.
My main wildflower locations are in Canton and Plymouth, but the botanical gardens also offers this look in late summer.
