Still Need Senior Photos? Here's What's Available for Summer & Fall 2026
It's hard to believe we're already one month into summer! The season has been filled with some incredible senior sessions, beautiful family minis, and so many familiar faces in front of my camera.
As we head into the second half of summer, my evening golden hour calendar is nearly full. The wildflower fields, glowing sunsets, and dreamy summer evenings have been incredibly popular this year.
If you're still hoping to book senior photos, don't worry—there are still some great options available!
My Top Recommendations for Late Summer Senior Sessions
1. Morning Wildflower Sessions in Plymouth
One of my favorite hidden gems is the wildflower area near Plymouth Township Park. Around 8–9am, the sunlight filters through the trees and creates a soft, glowy look that's surprisingly similar to golden hour. Bonus: cooler temperatures and fewer bugs!
2. Morning Downtown Sessions
Downtown sessions are fantastic in the morning. Whether you're drawn to the city feel of Detroit or Ann Arbor, or prefer the charm of Plymouth or Northville, mornings offer beautiful light, empty streets, and a much more relaxed experience.
3. September Flower Sessions
September is one of the most underrated months for senior photos. Many flowers remain in bloom until the first frost, which often doesn't arrive until early October.
Some of my favorite September locations include:
Local sunflower fields around Labor Day
Plymouth wildflowers
Dahlia fields at Fowl Creek Farms (Plymouth)- $50 fee
If you're considering a September session, I recommend booking for mid-September. That gives us flexibility to reschedule in case of rain while still staying ahead of peak fall season.

Family Session Update
This summer's family mini sessions at Plymouth Township Park were such a success, and we even managed to catch the peonies at their peak bloom!
At the moment, I don't have additional mini-session dates scheduled, but families are always welcome to book a regular 30-minute session. These sessions offer more flexibility and allow us to choose the location and date that works best for your family.
I'm also planning a round of sunflower mini sessions in late August once bloom timing becomes more predictable.
I have my direct booking links in this blog post, but I understand they can be hard to navigate. Fill out the inquiry form below and I typically follow-up within 48 hours.
